1Kingdom Kids
If you are in Kindergarten through 6th grade, you are invited every Sunday to be a part of Kingdom Kids!
Parents, our children are dismissed following worship to head to our King’s Garden area. For the safety of your children, please pick them up at the conclusion of the service from the King’s Garden area.
2 Our purpose
Our purpose is to help uphold you and your family in your quest to raise a Godly generation. We may be loud, we may be a little crazy.
3 Our Desire
Our desire is that your children encounter Jesus and learn that loving Him is fun. This may be done through a skit, a puppet show, Bible lessons, or song and dance.
4Our hope
Our hope is that each child encounters Jesus in a personal and real way. Come! Stay awhile! See that we serve a Great King, and see His heart displayed for your children.

King's Garden: Seedlings, Sprouts, & Shoots

It takes fertile soil to grow a small seed to a mighty, healthy plant. Here in The King's Garden, we have provided three classes to help nurture your little ones. Our goal is to care for your children as if they were our own, to teach them the love of Jesus, and show them how much He cares for them.
We also have a nursing mothers' room for a calm place to rock and feed your baby.
We encourage you to speak to our teachers and get to know them and their hearts in serving the most precious thing to your heart -- your children.

Ascent is the LifeGroup for junior high and high school students. It includes times of worship, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship. The heart of Ascent is to help lead young people into the presence of God and live pure, God-focused lives. Psalm 24:3-4 states, “Who may ascend the hill of the Lord? And who may stand in his holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart…”
We desire to see a group of young people who are continually on the ascent toward an upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
7:00-8:30 pm, Life Church
(2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month)

Equipped or “EQ” is our on-campus organization formed by a group of families and students from Life Church that has a desire and mission to reach the students and faculty at Truman State University. In everything we do, our goal is to help form and encourage believers to be equipped by Jesus to do His will in the earth. For more information, please email truman.eq@gmail.com
1Who We Are
As an extension of a local church, our goal is to serve the students of Truman State University and to equip young people to do God’s work in the earth both locally and abroad. “And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.” —Ephesians 4:11-13
2The PEACE Afterschool Program
Adopted as a service project of Equipped, the Peace Afterschool Program is a nonprofit afterschool program. It seeks to serve kids and families in Kirksville, MO, by going to the neighborhoods to promote learning and excellence in academics and life skills by providing Christian-based education assistance in a safe environment that promotes self-worth, respect, and responsibility. Its mission is to help young people foster bright dreams for their futures and to develop the skills necessary
3EQ Prayer
It’s our desire to see students at Truman State University walk in an active daily relationship with God. By preparing a place that people can seek God and pray, we are hoping to help facilitate prayer and worship on our campus.
4Life Groups
We believe that God has designed us not to just walk in relationship with Him but with people that He has placed in our lives. God desires a family of people on the earth that walk in relationship with one another through serving and loving each other.
5Life Church
EQ was born from the vision of a group of Truman students that attend Life Church of Kirksville. With the families of this local church, these students wanted to reach out to their fellow classmates and teachers by living as people who walk in daily relationship with God while being tied to people in the family of God in a local church. For us, our local church is Life Church, which is located at 112 W. Potter Avenue. and has services at 10am on Sunday mornings.
